1920 Colt Police Positive .32 Police 4" Blue w/ Original Box/Brochure!
Here is a little gem for all of the pre-war revolver collectors out there!
‘Dirty Harry’ is very happy to offer you this absolutely beautiful 1920 Colt Police Positive .32 Police (.32 S&W Long) revolver, wearing a 4” barrel, fixed sights, 6-shot cylinder, and a 100% all-original factory blue finish! This little pistol is real gem folks! The barrel markings reflect the last patent date on the barrel being 'JULY 4, 1905', and the serial number shows that it was manufactured in 1920.
Overall condition is simply amazing for a revolver that is 105 years old, and I would rate it @ close to 99%. There is nearly no finish loss whatsoever on the original factory blue finish, w/ only a coupe of very small freckles on the grip straps, and a small freckle around the forward sideplate screw. The usual cylinder turn line is almost invisible. Again, truly amazing for a pistol of this age. The factory original black checkered hard-rubber stocks are in excellent condition as well, and are each properly numbered to the gun. All mechanical functions are perfect w/ accurate timing and a rock-solid lock-up. The bore is likewise excellent and the rifling is bright & sharp.
This beautiful revolver comes in the original numbered box that shows pretty heavy wear, w/ a couple of missing bits, as well as the original Colt ‘Special Instructions’ pamphlet.
Again, if you are a collector of pre-war Colt handguns, and condition is extremely important to you, then you will want to take a very close look at this beautiful 1920 Colt Police Positive .32 Police 4” Blue revolver!
