1957 Colt Python .357 Magnum 6" Blue Original Box/Paperwork 'Like New'!
If you are a collector of vintage Colt Pythons, but are only interested in absolutely mint ‘collector-grade’ pistols, including their factory original box, paperwork, etc., then you will want to take a very close look at this amazing piece!
‘Dirty Harry’ is very proud to offer you this absolutely stunning 1957 Colt Python .357 Magnum 6” Blue revolver (serial # 4145). This is the finest 50’s-era Colt Python that we have ever seen since we have been in business, period. It is blatanty obvious that this pistol has been meticulously cared for since new, as it literally looks like new. Overall condition is rated @ 99++% throughout. The factory original royal blue finish still retains all of its deep dark shine throughout, w/ no distractions whatsoever, and the matte finish on the top strap is exceptional. As seen in the photos, the original finish is about as close to ‘perfect’ as you will ever find. The factory original fully-checkered target grips are in the same excellent condition as the gun itself. The cylinder face, recoil shield, and forcing cone are all super clean. All mechanical functions appear to be perfect, w/ crisp action, tight lockup, and the bore is bright and shiny w/ strong lands & grooves. This is a no excuses ‘collector grade’ Colt Python in every sense of the term.
The package is complete, including the factory original two-piece faux woodgrain Colt box, which is numbered to the gun, as well as the ‘Handling the Handgun’ pamphlet, Colt Warranty card, cleaning brush, and sight tool. According to the Colt Archives letter, which will accompany the gun, this Colt Python was shipped on June 18, 1957, and delivered to Ed Brendamour in Cincinatti, Ohio.
