This is an extraordinary piece, that rarely if ever comes up for sale, and represents the pinnacle of firearm craftsmanship from Walther in this era.

This exceptional pistol is fully plated from the factory in a brilliant gold finish, including both magazines, making it a true showpiece. Its frame, barrel, and slide are adorned w/ approximately 85% coverage of fine German oak-leaf engraving w/ punch dot backgrounds, as well as scroll accents & panels of diamond/checkerboard patterns, which adds depth and texture to the intricate design. The front grip strap and magazine base feature a distinctive crosshatched pattern, enhancing its overall elegance. Other features include standard fixed blade & notch sights, a 60-degree decocking safety, and the classic ‘Walther’ banner along w/ the two-line address on the left side of the slide. The frame bears the ‘67’ proof date, w/ standard proofs, and is complemented by a serrated spur hammer. Aside from the red filler on the ‘F’ safety position, the bright bore, and a few of the internals, the finish is entirely gold-plated, which includes both magazines.
