Marlin Model 1894 Century Limited/Employee Special Edition 1 of 100! NIB!

Here is a real jewel for all of the high-end rifle collectors out there!

‘Dirty Harry is very proud to offer you this rare and absolutely gorgeous Marlin Model 1894 Century Limited/Employee Special Edition Lever Action rifle, one of only 100 produced in 1994. Chambered for the classic .44-40 Winchester cartridge, the serial numbers for these rifles range from 94CL0001 to 94CL0100, and this one falls square in the middle, w/ serial number 94CL0050.

These rifles are absolutely stunning, and they can be easily distinguished from the standard production Century Limited by the gold inlaid Marlin horse & rider logo on the right side of the frame. Both sides & top of the receiver are beautifully engraved, and the top is marked w/ the classic ‘Marlin Safety’. The frame and lever are vividly color case hardened, while the barrel, magazine tube and forend cap are nicely blued. The 24” octagon barrel is marked with the ‘JM’ proof, which stands for the company’s founder, John Marlin, and indicates the rifle was made under Marlin management. The hand checkered walnut stocks are simply gorgeous, and the buttstock has the famous Marlin ‘bullseye’ on the underside. The crescent buttplate is polished brass. Again, these rifles are absolutely beautiful in every respect.

This particular example is in ‘As New’ condition throughout, and remains unfired since leaving the factory 31 years ago. The case colors are strong and vivid, and the blued metal is as close to perfect as you can get. There is no rust or any pitting anywhere on this rifle. The stocks are also in ‘As New’ condition w/ absolutely no distractions whatsoever. The mechanics are in perfect working order and the bore is excellent, as you would expect. This gorgeous rifle comes in the original box which numbers to the gun, and has a colorful box sleeve that is in excellent condition as well.

The package is 100% complete w/ the original owner's manual, warranty card, and even the original outer shipping carton, which also has the numbers matching end label.
